DNA Members and Downtown Stakeholders,

Thanks to all of the DNA members and downtown stakeholders who attended the August General Membership Meeting.

A special thanks to Bridgett Massengill, JCDA, for a very informative presentation and discussion on the Downtown Redevelopment Plan.  Also, thanks to Chief John Lowry for giving us a brief on the present and future law enforcement activities downtown.

Thanks to Herb Greenlee and the Carver Recreation Center Staff for their assistance with the meeting room.

Welcome to the new DNA members who signed up this month.

Jenny Lea Academy                   Gary & Jenny Lewis

Golden Gate Design                  Charles & Pat Tilley

Antiques                                   Doris Hungate

We appreciate your involvement in and commitment to downtown.

Downtown beautification was the issue discussed resulting in the formation of the Beautification Committee with Charles Tilley as Chair.  Please plan to attend the September meeting if you would like to get involved.

We are working on the programs and speakers for the next few months and expect to increase the value of being a DNA member.  If there is a topic you would like to see addressed, please let us know.

Respectfully,

Marc Nachman

DNA President
