There’s power in numbers – Let’s give downtown a voice.

Thanks to all of the DNA members and downtown stakeholders who attended the first monthly General Membership Meeting of 2006 making it an overwhelming success.

A special thanks to Ken Rea, Director of Economic and Community Development, for a fact-filled explanation of the Business Loan Programs.  And to Barbara Sanders Thomas, Betty Seaton Williams, and Natalie Bailey for an informative and enthusiastic presentation on the Oak Hill Cemetery.  Thanks also to Herb Greenlee and the Carver Recreation Center Staff for their assistance with the outstanding meeting room.

Welcome to the new DNA members who signed up at the meeting.  We appreciate your involvement in and commitment to downtown.

We are working on the programs and speakers for the next few months and expect to increase the value of being a DNA member.  If there is a topic you would like to see addressed, please let us know.

Respectfully,

Marc Nachman
DNA President
